Tales From the Couch CD Cover

TALES FROM THE COUCH
The world of psychotherapy can be complex and intriguing, tender and poignant, and sometimes downright hilarious. The songs included in this collection are presented with the understanding that there is a thin line that separates the "patient" from the therapist. Beginning with Sondheim's wistful Anyone Can Whistle depicting the struggle and the quest for freedom and ending with a celebration of liberation finally won in the powerful Feeling Good (by Bricusse and Newley), Pamela offers a range of songs reflecting all the nuances of the human condition. Her accompanist is the wonderfully talented Doug Hammer on piano. Released Fall 2003.
